Tacit Sims in partnership with Cambridge Enterprise and the University of Cambridge hosted an IPSim competition on the 6th July 2016 for Cambridge university staff and students and Cambridge Enterprise employees.
The evening kicked off with a briefing on IP from Dr Wesley Randle and then moved in to the first IPSim game sessions (6 teams of 3) along with Pizza and beer!
The stakes increased after the final IP briefing on IP negotiation, due diligence and valuation and the teams then moved into competition mode!
The winning teams – see below – won several copies of IPSim on-line that launches on 1st August 2016 as well as copies of an award winning entrepreneurship book from the University of Cambridge Judge Business School.

Attendees from Cambridge were wide and varied – Cambridge Enterprise employees and University of Cambridge academics from the Judge Business School and post-docs and students from Architecture, Haematology, Veterinary Medicine, Economics, Medicine, Chemistry, CRUK Cambridge Institute, Engineering, Biochemistry, Materials Science and Metallurgy, Judge Business School, Entrepreneurship Centre, DAMTP – Department of Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics and Physics.
